From the design phase through to the final polish, Academy Cufflinks are a true rarity in today's highly automated world. At each step your cufflinks have been created using traditional craftsmen’s skills dating back many years.

As you can see from the pictures below the methods employed are really quite unique.
The Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham has a long tradition of skilled jewellery manufacture and design yet many of these skills are sadly disappearing as time goes by. Unfortunately youngsters are not choosing to go into the trade and some of these skills will undoubtedly die away in the future.

For now however it is a real treat to see traditional craftsmen working in highly skilled ways producing cufflinks of wonderful quality. Long may it continue. We welcome any enquiries from both private and trade customers.
